You are the Last Samurai !

<Leaning about Samurai>

Samurai  were the military nobility and officer caste of medieval and early-modern Japan.  They usually have swords called Katana to represent their power and actually use them.  Today, the way to use Katana and its spirit were taken over as Kendo, the modern Japanese martial arts.

Kendo uses bamboo swords (shinai) and protective armour (bogu).

"The Concept and Purposes of Kendo", which developed by All Japan Kendo Federation (AJKF) in 1975, is as follows:

【Concept】

         Kendo is a way to discipline the human character through the application of the principles of the katana.

【Purposes】

To mold the mind and body.

To cultivate a vigorous spirit, and through correct and rigid training, to strive for improvement in the art of Kendo.

To hold in esteem human courtesy and honor.

To associate with others with sincerity.

And to forever pursue the cultivation of oneself.

Thus will one be able:To love one's country and society;To contribute to the development of culture;And to promote peace and prosperity among all peoples.

We will teach you the basic way of Kendo and how the samurai cultivated their soul through practicing Kendo, learning their behaviour, meditation to calm and think, having food which they used to eat and so on.

Also, as an additional event, we will have Setsubun ceremony in the plan.

Setsubun is the day before the beginning of spring in Japan.  The name literally means "seasonal division", but usually the term refers to the spring Setsubun, properly called Risshun celebrated yearly on February 3 as part of the Spring Festival.
